The Waiting Room feature allows the host to control when and which participants are able to join a meeting.
To enable the Waiting Room for an event, sign into Zoom and click on Settings in the left navigation menu. Look at the Security section and verify the Waiting Room feature is enabled.
Click Edit Options to select who you want to admit to the Waiting Room:
- Everyone: All participants joining your meeting will be admitted to the Waiting Room.
- Users not in your account: Only participants who are not logging in with Saint Peter's email addresses will be admitted to the Waiting Room.
- Users who are not in your account and not part of the allowed domains: Anyone who isn't using either a Saint Peter's email address or an email address from another specified domain will be sent to the Waiting Room
