Accessing Paycom Employee Self-Service (ESS) After Employment Ends

Summary

This article explains how a former employee can gain access to Paycom Employee Self-Service (ESS)

Body

As a former employee, you can still access Paycom Employee Self-Service (ESS) to retrieve pay stubs, year-end tax forms, and other employment-related documents. However, after your employment ends, you will no longer have access via Single Sign-On (SSO). To log in, you will need to follow the steps below to access ESS using a different username and password.

Steps to Access Paycom ESS:

  1. Visit the Paycom login page:
Go to the following link: https://www.paycomonline.net/v4/ee/web.php/app/login

  2. Reset your password:
Click the "Forgot Password" link located near the bottom of the page.

  3. Verify your identity:
To reset your password, you will need:

    • Your Paycom username (this will be provided to you by HR prior to your departure).

    • Your Social Security Number (SSN).

    • Your date of birth.

  4. Once you have entered this information correctly, you will be prompted to complete two-factor authentication. You can send the authentication code to your personal email.

  5. Set your password:
After verifying the code, you will be able to set up your new password.

    • Important note about your Paycom username: Your Paycom username will not be your university or personal email address. HR will provide this username to you before your departure. Be careful when entering it, as it may contain both the number "1" and the uppercase letter "I."

  1. Log in to ESS:
After successfully resetting your password, return to the login page and sign in using your Paycom username and the password you just set up.
