This document provides step-by-step instructions for reviewing and approving purchase requisitions and other financial documents in Colleague Self-Service.
Step 1 - Log into Colleague Self-Service
Use the Google Waffle (also known as the app launcher) and select the icon for Colleague Self-Service

Step 2 - Select Financial Management
On the Colleague Self-Service home page, click Financial Management.

Step 3 - Select Approve Documents
From the Financial Management page, click Approve Documents.

Step 4 - Review the items awaiting your approval
The Approve Documents page displays all requisitions and other financial documents awaiting your approval. Before approving a requisition, click the requisition number to review its details.

Step 5 - Review requisition details
Clicking the requisition number opens a details panel on the right side of the screen. Use the Overview, Approvers, and Line Items tabs to review information about the requisition before making an approval decision.

Step 6 - Requisition full view
For a full-page view of the requisition, click the requisition number in the details panel. A new browser tab will open displaying all requisition information, including any attached documents. Attachments can be viewed or downloaded as needed.

Step 7 - Select items to approve
After reviewing the requisition details, return to the approval list and select the checkbox next to each requisition you wish to approve. Click Submit to record your approval and route the requisition to the next step in the workflow..

Step 8 - Check your approvals history
At any time, you can review previously approved requisitions by clicking the History tab.
