Below are instructions on how to connect a Chromebook to our internal wifi networks.

Click on the WiFi icon on the bottom right corner of the screen.
Select the appropriate wireless network (SPU-EMPLOYEES is for current faculty/staff or SPU-STUDENTS is for current students).

You will now be prompted to fill in the settings as in the image to the left.  Enter the following values for each:

  • SSID: (should already be set to SPU-EMPLOYEES or SPU-STUDENTS depending on which you selected.)
  • EAP Method: PEAP
  • Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPv2
  • Server CA Certificate: Default
  • Identity: Staff and faculty should enter spc\username (ie spc\ataylor) and students should enter students\username (as in students\otaylor).
  • Anonymous Identity: Leave this field blank.
  • Password: Your current password you use to log into your email, SPIRIT, etc.
You should now be connected to wifi.
