The Chromeboxes that IT has deployed to all on-campus classrooms are supposed to remain on at all times, but if the computer in your classroom isn't responding when you try to wake it up by using the mouse or keyboard, it's possible the computer was either shut down or lost power. Whatever the case, here are some troubleshooting steps to get your Chromebox up and running as quickly as possible:
If the Chromebox is on but you aren't getting a picture on the lectern monitor, check and make sure the cables in the back of the monitor are plugged in tightly (they sometimes can come loose as different instructors adjust the monitors to their preference).
If you still aren't getting an image on the monitor or classroom screen/projector, please click on Services on the menu bar at the top of the page and use the Classroom Technology service to submit a ticket to IT.
