Transferring To An Extension From Voice Mail

If you are logged into a voice mailbox and want to call another extension, you do not have to log off or hang up.  Instead you can transfer to the extension straight from voice mail.  This is particularly convenient if you are calling from a non Saint Peter's phone since you will not have to dial the full phone number and incur an additional cost.

To transfer to an extension from voice mail:

1. Dial *8 at any point during a voice mail session (either your own or a different voice mailbox).
2. Enter the extension to call and press # (the extension has to belong to someone with a voice mailbox on our system).
