Classroom Technology: How to use Degnan Conference Room and Pope Lecture Hall

This article describes how to use the Crestron touch panel in the Degnan Conference Room (in Saint Peter's Hall) and Pope Lecture Hall to manage the display and audio settings.

The first image below shows the four available input options

  • Laptop (connected via HDMI to the jack on top of the lectern)
  • Lectern PC (Chromebox)
  • DVD player (located inside the lectern)
  • Wireless Presenter (Airtame)

When you select the source, the projector and screen will power on automatically.

To turn off the projector and screen, select the Power icon on the bottom left and you will be prompted to shut down the system.

In Pope Lecture Hall only, selecting the Audio icon brings you to volume and mute controls for:

  • The lectern mic (integrated directly into the podium)
  • Stage (wireless) mic
  • Floor mic (if connecting an external microphone)
When you select the Camera icon, you can use the cross control to adjust the camera orientation, or use the Zoom controls to zoom in and out.
