In response to the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and as a precautionary measure to help to minimize the risk of exposure to the virus Saint Peter’s University is moving to work remotely.  The Office of Information Technology, along with partners from across the University, is here to help. On this page, you will find information about office hours, web resources, and other forms of assistance. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need help.

What do I need in order to keep working?

  • Communicate and keep informed - check your Saint Peter’s University email regularly to stay up to date as the situation evolves.  Communicate regularly with your students, let them know what you are trying to do and what you expect from them. Reach out for help or advice when you need it.  Reach out to us, to your Director, manager, or VP of your area.
  • Many of the applications that you will need are already available from off-campus, in particular, Gmail, Blackboard, Google Meet. and the IT Client Portal  Your Saint Peter’s University “MyApps Dashboard” is a good starting point to get to these.
  • VPN - Allows an employee to access Saint Peter's network from a public or personal WIFI network 
  • Google Meet - Connect with your team from anywhere. With easy-to-join video calls, you can meet face to face 
  • Phone System - Includes instructions on how to forward your extension, change your voice mail greeting, and check your voice mail from anywhere.  


Where can I get technology help?

Though this may change as the situation evolves, currently the IT Service Desk is available remotely but otherwise as usual.   Our support hours are Mon-Thu 8 am-7 pm and Fri 8 am-5 pm.  The ways to get help are:
